JOB VACANCY – HAVEN WELLNESS CENTER

1. CLINICAL OFFICER PSYCHIATRY (1 Position)
Qualifications & Requirements:
•Diploma or Degree in Mental Health and Clinical Psychiatry
•Registered with HPCZ
•Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills
•Experience in substance use disorder management is an added advantage
•Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
•Conduct psychiatric assessments and formulate treatment plans
•Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications within scope
•Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
•Provide patient and family psychoeducation
•Maintain accurate clinical documentation

2. MENTAL HEALTH NURSE(1 Position)
Qualifications & Requirements:
•Diploma or Degree in Mental Health Nursing
•Registered with NMCZ
•Experience in psychiatric or rehabilitation settings is an added advantage
•Strong patient care, observation, and documentation skills
•Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
•Provide daily nursing care to patients
•Administer medications and monitor side effects
•Support detoxification and stabilization processes
•Participate in therapeutic activities and patient education
•Maintain patient records and ensure safety

📍 Stakeholders Engagement Meeting – Kitwe

☘️Today in Kitwe, Haven Wellness Center joined the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC), Ministry of Education, Ministry of Home Affairs, and other partners in a stakeholders engagement meeting to address the rising cases of substance use among youths.

☘️Discussions focused on prevention, early identification, and effective treatment strategies. Haven Wellness Center emphasized the need for a multidisciplinary approach and called upon religious institutions, schools, companies, and community organisations to actively participate in early detection, referral, and treatment.

☘️Substance use is a community-wide challenge that requires collective action. Haven Wellness Center remains committed to working with all stakeholders to protect our youths and promote healthier communities.
