Day 2 of the Zambia Genomics Symposium 2025 wrapped up on a high note!
We were inspired by the incredible research shared around wastewater surveillance, Malaria, HIV, and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) — all showcasing the transformative role of genomics in public health.
A major highlight was the presentation by Mr.Sahil Tulsi from Illumina on the MiSeq™️ i100 Series—the next-generation replacement for the legacy MiSeq, which will be phased out by 2029.
The MiSeq i100 brings simplified workflows, faster run times (as quick as 4 hr and < 2 hr), and impressive sustainability: Room-temperature shipment and storage of consumables. Empowering every lab, everywhere.
A sincere thank you to our partners, Mr.Andrew Potter from SEPARATIONS and Mr. Wayne Barnes from Illumina, for their generous sponsorship and support, which made our participation in the Zambia Genomics Symposium 2025 possible.
We also extend our appreciation to the Zambia National Public Health Institute (ZNPHI) for organizing this impactful event and creating a platform for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and innovation in genomics and public health
