Ever Heard of something called "SITTING DISEASE"?
___________________________
The "sitting disease," or a sedentary lifestyle, is a term used to describe individuals who engage in prolonged periods of sitting or overall inactivity.
It's being called "disease" because now its a major problem in the Western countries leading to morbidity(a state of being diseased) and death.
Unfortunately, our country has began to face the same challenge and this is a huge burden to the nation, and families.
While sitting down all day may seem harmless, you may be surprised by the negative impact it has on your health.
Remember your body is a biological machine and any machine not used enough eventually begins to malfunction.
Negative effects such as an increased risk for type 2 diabetes, heart disease, back and joint pain and certain cancers are all found to be associated with the sitting disease.
Below are are some examples of jobs that involve more sitting than being physically activity.
We could also add to the list Students.😊
