New week, fresh mindset!

As we step into Monday, remember that smart protection is triple protection. Using condoms doesn’t just prevent unintended pregnancies, it also protects against sexually transmitted infections and supports overall sexual health.

Make it a habit. Make it a priority. Make it smart.

Start your week informed, protected, and empowered.

April is STI Awareness Month.

A timely reminder that your health matters, and knowing your status is a powerful step toward protecting yourself and others.

Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are common, often without symptoms, and completely manageable when detected early. Regular screening is key to staying in control of your health and preventing complications.

At AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) Zambia, we’re making it easy and accessible for you to get tested. Free, confidential STI screening services are available at all AHF facilities across:

📍 Lusaka Province
📍 Copperbelt Province
📍 North-Western Province
📍 Eastern Province
📍 Central Province
📍 Southern Province

Whether you have symptoms or not, getting screened is quick, safe, and could make all the difference.

Take charge. Get tested. Stay informed.

A new chapter begins in the Northern Region

Today in Ndola, the AHF team came together for a dynamic meet and greet, warmly welcoming new leadership and strengthening the vision for impactful service delivery. Led by Dr. Webster Chewe, the AHF Zambia Country Program Manager, the session introduced an energized regional team, including Dr. Chitalu Chanda and Ms. Precious Mwila, alongside support from national leadership.

From recognizing outstanding leadership during the transition to celebrating new promotions, the atmosphere was filled with pride, unity, and purpose.

Dr. Chanda left the team with a powerful daily challenge:
🔹 Vision – Why am I here today?
🔹 Mission – What will I achieve?
🔹 Innovation – How can I make a difference?

With a strong commitment to collaboration, client-centered care, and continuous growth, the Northern Region team is ready to raise the bar and drive impact where it matters most.

Tuesday Throwback: The Shampande Youth Friendly-Space Radio Take Over!
This past National Youth Day, our Young People’s Program (YPP) Shampande lit up the airwaves with a powerful radio talk show. The session broke barriers and sparked open conversations on topics often left unspoken, such as sexual and reproductive health, HIV prevention, testing, condom use, and access to youth-friendly services.
Young people were encouraged to take charge of their health by visiting Shampande Clinic for HIV and syphilis testing, condom collection, and guidance on VMMC appointments. More than just a broadcast, this was a platform for informed decision making and community empowerment.
Every youth voice matters. Every dialogue brings us closer to a healthier, more empowered generation. 💡💪
