Even without symptoms, high blood pressure
damages your blood vessels, heart, kidneys
and other organs.

2. MYTH: High blood pressure is not a
serious problem.

👉👉 FACT: High blood pressure is the world's leading killer. Unless treated, it can cause stroke, heart attack, kidney failure, dementia andmany other serious health problems.

3. MYTH: I am young. I cannot have hypertension.

👉👉 FACT: You can develop high blood pressure at any age. Risk of hypertension increases as you get older. These days, more and more young people have high blood pressure, and hence need to be screened.

4. MYTH: High blood pressure runs in my family.I can do nothing toprevent it.

👉👉 FACT: If your parents or close relatives have high blood pressure, you can develop it, too.You can help prevent high blood pressure by having a healthy lifestyle.

5. MYTH: I have hypertension but I do not like
taking medicines as they cause side effects.

👉👉 FACT: Untreated hypertension is more dangerous than the side effects caused by medicines. There are many effective and safe medications to control high blood pressure. If one medication causes side effects, your doctor can change prescription to a different one.

6. MYTH: My BP is fine if it is less than my age+100.

👉👉 FACT: The ideal blood pressure is lower than 120/80mmHg, and high blood pressure is
140/90 mmHg or higher, regardless of
your age.

The lower your blood pressure the lower your risk of heart attack, heart failure, stroke and kidney disease will be.

VA**NAL BLEEDING BETWEEN PERIODS
WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
********************************************
Abnormal va**nal bleeding between periods is also called intermenstrual bleeding, spotting, and metrorrhagia. When bleeding occurs between normal periods, there are many possible causes.

While some causes may be easy to treat, others can indicate a serious underlying condition. Whether you notice spotting or heavier bleeding between periods, it’s important to see your doctor for testing, diagnosis, and treatment options. Potential causes of bleeding between periods include:

>a growth in your uterus or cervix
stress
>a change in medication
>a miscarriage
>va**nal dryness
>a hormone imbalance
>cancer
>fibroids

If the bleeding is associated with pain, bad smell and fever its caused by infections.

Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID)
''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''’'’''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
P.I.D is an infection of the female reproductive organs. It most often occurs when s*xually transmitted bacteria spread from your va**na to your uterus, fallopian tubes or ovaries.

Symptoms
''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
The signs and symptoms of pelvic inflammatory disease might be mild and difficult to recognize. Some women don't have any signs or symptoms. When signs and symptoms of PID are present, they most often include:

1️⃣Pain — ranging from mild to severe in your lower abdomen and pelvis
2️⃣Unusual or heavy va**nal discharge that may have an unpleasant odor
3️⃣Unusual bleeding from the va**na, especially during or after s*x, or between periods
4️⃣Pain during s*x
5️⃣Fever, sometimes with chills
6️⃣Painful, frequent or difficult urination.

Causes
''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
Many types of bacteria can cause PID, but gonorrhea or chlamydia infections are the most common. These bacteria are usually acquired during unprotected s*x.

Less commonly, bacteria can enter your reproductive tract anytime the normal barrier created by the cervix is disturbed. This can happen during menstruation and after childbirth, miscarriage or abortion. Rarely, bacteria can also enter the reproductive tract during the insertion of an intrauterine device (IUD) — a form of long-term birth control — or any medical procedure that involves inserting instruments into the uterus.

Risk factors
'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
A number of factors might increase your risk of pelvic inflammatory disease, including:

Being s*xually active and younger than 25 years old
Having multiple s*xual partners
Being in a s*xual relationship with someone who has more than one s*x partner
Having s*x without a condom
Douching regularly, which upsets the balance of good versus harmful bacteria in the va**na and might mask symptoms
Having a history of pelvic inflammatory disease or a s*xually transmitted infection
There is a small increased risk of PID after the insertion of an intrauterine device (IUD). This risk is generally confined to the first three weeks after insertion.

Complications
''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
Untreated pelvic inflammatory disease might cause scar tissue and pockets of infected fluid (abscesses) to develop in the reproductive tract. These can cause permanent damage to the reproductive organs.

Complications from this damage might include:

1️⃣Ectopic pregnancy. PID is a major cause of tubal (ectopic) pregnancy. An ectopic pregnancy can occur when untreated PID has caused scar tissue to develop in the fallopian tubes. The scar tissue prevents the fertilized egg from making its way through the fallopian tube to implant in the uterus. Instead, the egg implants in the fallopian tube. Ectopic pregnancies can cause massive, life-threatening bleeding and require emergency medical attention.
2️⃣Infertility. Damage to your reproductive organs may cause infertility — the inability to become pregnant. The more times you've had PID, the greater your risk of infertility. Delaying treatment for PID also dramatically increases your risk of infertility.
3️⃣Chronic pelvic pain. Pelvic inflammatory disease can cause pelvic pain that might last for months or years. Scarring in your fallopian tubes and other pelvic organs can cause pain during in*******se and ovulation.
4️⃣Tubo-ovarian abscess. PID might cause an abscess — a collection of pus — to form in your reproductive tract. Most commonly, abscesses affect the fallopian tubes and ovaries, but they can also develop in the uterus or in other pelvic organs. If an abscess is left untreated, you could develop a life-threatening infection.

✨What are peptic ulcers?

➡️Peptic ulcers are sores that develop in the lining of the stomach, lower esophagus, or small intestin. They’re usually formed as a result of inflammation caused by the bacteria H. pylori, as well as from erosion from stomach acids. Peptic ulcers are a fairly common health problem.

✨There are three types of peptic ulcers:

➡️gastric ulcers: ulcers that develop inside the stomach
➡️esophageal ulcers: ulcers that develop inside the esophagus
➡️duodenal ulcers: ulcers that develop in the upper section of the small intestines, called the duodenum
✨✨Causes of peptic ulcers
Different factors can cause the lining of the stomach, the esophagus, and the small intestine to break down.

➡️Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori), a type of bacteria that can cause a stomach infection and inflammation
➡️frequent use of aspirin (Bayer), ibuprofen (Advil), and other anti-inflammatory drugs (risk associated with this behavior increases in women and people over the age of 60)
➡️smoking
➡️drinking too much alcohol
➡️radiation therapy
➡️stomach cancer

✨Symptoms of peptic ulcers
The most common symptom of a peptic ulcer is burning abdominal pain that extends from the navel to the chest, which can range from mild to severe.
In some cases, the pain may wake you up at night. Small peptic ulcers may not produce any symptoms in the early phases.

✨Other common signs of a peptic ulcer include:

➡️changes in appetite
nausea
➡️bloody or dark stools
➡️unexplained weight loss
➡️indigestion
➡️vomiting
➡️chest pain

HOW TO CLEAN THE VA**NA
1. Do not put anything inside the va**na including water. The inside of your va**na is self cleansing. It does a better job than you so learn to trust your va**na.
2. Wash the outside and entrance to the va**na with clean water.
3. Clean from front to back and not back to front because you don't want to introduce f***l bacteria into the va**na or your urine pipe.
4. Drink water and eat your favourite fruit regularly.
