🩸 BLOOD DONATION DRIVE🩸
cfb Medical Centre, in conjunction with the Ministry of Health and the Zambia National Blood Transfusion Service, successfully conducted a Blood Donation Drive on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd November 2025 under the theme “Save Lives Today.”

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who came through to donate blood and support this life-saving cause. Your generosity and compassion make a real difference — one unit of blood can save more than one life.
Remember, blood donation is a safe and simple procedure that helps ensure hospitals have enough supply for those in need. Together, we are saving lives and strengthening our community.

With great humility and a deep sense of responsibility today, October 31, 2025, cfb Medical Centre proudly handed over 23 hospital beds with mattresses to the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) Adult.

This donation reflects our unwavering commitment to enhancing healthcare, compassion, and community service in Zambia. These beds are more than equipment they represent hope, dignity, and the promise of healing.

We believe healthcare is a fundamental human right. By supporting our public health institutions, we move closer to achieving Universal Health Coverage and ensuring no one is left behind.

To the incredible staff at UTH – Adult: your dedication inspires us. Thank you for being the heartbeat of our healthcare system.

Let’s continue building a healthier, stronger Zambia together.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Breast cancer doesn’t always show symptoms early — that’s why it’s important to know what to look for.

Common signs to watch for:
• A new lump or thickening in the breast or underarm
• Change in breast size or shape
• Dimpling, redness, or texture changes on the skin
• Ni**le discharge or inversion
• Persistent pain or swelling that doesn’t go away

Not every change means cancer, but every change deserves attention.
This month, take time to know your body, perform regular self-checks, and speak to your doctor if something feels different.
