On World AIDS Day, cfb Medical Centre conducted a comprehensive Corporate Health Camp at ZCCM-IH Head Office.

The programme included an HIV/AIDS presentation delivered by Dr. Vivek to ZCCM-IH staff, while our Dietician, Rommie Mwila, was on hand to provide practical nutritional tips as part of the wellness activities. This collaborative setup ensured that staff received a meaningful and well-supported health experience.

World AIDS Day is a reminder of the strength, resilience, and progress of individuals and communities affected by HIV.

Today we honour those living with HIV, remember those we’ve lost, and stand with everyone working toward a future free from stigma and discrimination.

cfb Medical Centre joins the global call for compassion, understanding, and access to information that empowers people to take charge of their health.

This Mens health month, we’re encouraging men to prioritise their wellbeing through simple, consistent daily habits.

Healthy routines like eating well, staying active, resting enough, connecting with others, and checking in with your emotions all contribute to long-term mental and physical health.

It’s okay to start small. What matters most is consistency.

And if you ever feel overwhelmed, low, or unsure how to begin, support is available.

This Men’s Health Month, we’re highlighting the importance of early awareness around prostate cancer — one of the most common cancers affecting men. Many signs can be subtle, which is why paying attention to changes and getting regular checkups matters.

Your wellbeing comes first. If you have concerns or notice anything different, consider speaking with a doctor or scheduling a checkup.

Everyday life is full of routines — work, family, and everything in between. For people living with diabetes, small daily habits can have a big impact on how you feel.
You don’t have to overhaul your whole lifestyle at once. Small, consistent changes can support steadier energy and better health.

This Diabetes Awareness Month, we’re focusing on the small lifestyle choices that support healthier living.

Today on World Prematurity Day, we look back at a remarkable journey.
In May 2025, a baby boy was born prematurely at 27 weeks, weighing 800 grams.
After 79 days of care in the cfb Neonatal Unit, he was discharged in August 2025 at a healthy weight of 2.22 kg.
This story reflects the commitment to neonatal care and the ongoing support offered to babies who arrive early and require specialised attention during their first days of life.
