Rabecca Hichilo Silolezya is a chartered accountant and sustainability professional with extensive experience providing accounting, audit and advisory services. She gained her experience whilst working in the KPMG New York Office in its financial services practice for 8 years, in the KPMG Zambia office for 4 years (where she served as an Associate Director) and most recently heading the group financial reporting team of a leading African payments infrastructure company, Paystack. Rabecca is currently the Managing Director of a sustainability focussed advisory firm, Sustainable Impact Advisory (whose mission is to help organisations and businesses integrate sustainability solutions to deliver long-term value whilst positively impacting people and the planet).
Rabecca attained her qualification to practice as a Certified Public Accountant from the University of the State of New York and was admitted to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 2012. She is also a licensed practitioner of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA). Rabecca is a sustainability professional certified by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) with GRI standards being the most widely used standards by top global companies to report on their sustainability efforts.
Rabecca serves as the vice-chairperson of the ZICA Practice Review Committee and is a member of the ZICA Technical Committee. She is a member of the Institute of Directors and serves on the Board of several entities.
