STILL TALKING CERVICAL CANCER...

On a random day early last year me and workmates decided to go and screen for CERVICAL CANCER. We did at kalingalinga clinic and unfortunately for me I was referred to UTH, next day I went to UTH and was found with some Precancerous Cells. I was given treatment called LEEP!

{(LEEP) uses a wire loop heated by electric current to remove cells and tissue in a woman's lower ge***al tract. It is used as part of the diagnosis and treatment for abnormal or cancerous conditions.}.

I was given a year for my next visit which i did my review January this year and am perfectly Fine now🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.

Am here to advise Women to please go and have yourselves screened, cervical cancer is real you wouldn’t want to discover it when it’s already at stage 2,3,or 4 that will be too late. When detected early it’s treatable.

Stay way from Lusaka as much as possible. So far 125 trucks have come through Livingstone, and the drivers and lorry mates are in a designated quarantine space at the new residences at UNZA. This area of quarantine is barricaded with security .
Zambia has revived additional swabs and lab reagents, therefore testing will increase.

There’s still risk of introduction of new cases in the country through Points of Entry, if measures are not adhered to. Let’s follow the guidelines!

d. If coughing or sneezing , do it in your sleeves by your elbow, or use a disposable paper towel that you discard immediately in a closed bin
