Stop leaving your kids with them.

Stop leaving your children with your boyfriends you barely know.

Stop letting your family members you don't entirely trust watch them because it's free.

If you have a gut feeling about someone that doesn't sit right with you when it comes to your child, cut all ties with this person.

If your little one comes to you and says I don't want to stay with a particular person .... do me a favor and listen to them.

WHEN A CHILD IS DEFILED, DON’T CALL FOR FAMILY MEETINGS, REPORT TO POLICE - YWCA

Young Women Christian Association Zambia (YWCA) National Youth Chairperson Besa Kambafwile has implored the general public to always report cases of defilement and r**e to the police instead of having family meetings.

Ms Kambafwile said it is the responsibility of every family member to report those who defile children to police so that the law can take its course.

She said that failure to report the defilement and r**e cases will hinder justice for children and destroy their minds.

“I would like to remind the general public that when a child is defiled by a relative, call the police and not have a family meeting. This way, we will help reduce wrong doers in the community,” she said.

She said the law in the country does not hesitate to deal with the people who defile children in society.

UPROAR OVER CONVICTED DEFILER’S ATTACHMENT TO PRISON’S FOOTBALL CLUB

Dudley Fichite, convicted for defiling his nine year old niece, infected her with syphillis and HIV. He was sentenced to life for the offence, and has now been drafted into the Prison Leopards Football Club to help drill the team.

But child rights activist Buumba Malambo and Zambian Feminists are riled by the Club’s decision.

This morning, I saw this article on Zambian Feminist page and it gave me chills, R**e is premeditated, not a mistake. I repeat R**e and Defilement are not a mistake because pedophiles, defilers and ra**sts decide before hand and choose which child to SEXUALLY ABUSE; sometimes they plan this satanic evil for several months and wait for the perfect opportunity.I will say this again if you are still alive as a parent its better you keep your own children than throwing them to the next available person,i have seen so many cases where the child who is a Dependant is a victim.

I pray that these companies also spend money to go and rehabilitate this little girl who is now living with HIV.

For those unfamiliar with this case, Dudley Fichite is a former Chipolopolo player who in 2014 r**ed his 9 year old niece at the time, gave her syphilis and infected her with HIV. In 2016, he was convicted by the High court to 25 years in prison with hard labour, and after appealing to the Supreme court, he was sentenced to Life imprisonment.

So the Prisons Correctional Service has now decided to attach him to the FAZ MTN league to coach a team all in the name of rehabilitation. How unfair is this? It is a pity we have no strong cancel culture in this country, because companies like MTN Zambia would not condone such.

We fail victims of r**e when their attackers are exalted and offered high positions knstead of serving the time they deserve.

Someone in the article even had the decency to say that 'talent enhancement is better for those who make mistakes'. Ra**ng a 9 year old under your care and infecting her with HIV and syphylis is not a mistake. That is just inhumane and pre meditated. The ra**st threw away all those privileges and talent the day he laid his hands on a young girl who was trusted to him. And now he gets to travel, train and do something that he absolutely loves and help the Prisons make money. It is not about rehabilitation but profit.

The courts did their part. They even upgraded his sentence, but Prison Corrections decided otherwise. How then is justice served when a 16 year old girl somewhere, is still suffering from the repercussions of this grown man's mistakes?"

Thank you Zambian Feminist for seeing what is truly wrong with the entire system when it comes to sexual crimes against children.
