Breast cancer is a silent threat, and vigilance is our best defense.
The most important — and often the most affordable — screening tool is breast self-examination, especially for premenopausal women. This should be done monthly, ideally a few days after your period ends when the breasts are least likely to be swollen or tender.

There are also other screening options, such as clinical breast exams, mammography, and ultrasounds, which may be recommended based on your age, family history, or other risk factors. Talk to your healthcare provider about what’s right for you.

Ladies, let’s do this together.
Be your sister’s keeper — ask the women in your life if they’ve been screened. Remind them. Encourage them. Support them.

Together, we stand stronger in the fight against breast cancer.
Early detection saves lives.

Happy women’s day to all women in our circles and beyond. Just to tell you that you are a woman of worth, not because of what’s in your life right now but because of what God says about you. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalms139:14) inspite of all those issues that make you feel less worthy. When God created you, you were made in His image (Genesis 1:27) and all that He made was VERY GOOD in His eyes ( Genesis 1:31). So don’t feel like you are not good enough, don’t listen to the devil when he says you don’t measure up, because the one who made you sealed and notarized that you are very good, you are enough. And that’s it. So indeed, happy women’s day!!!

Hie everybody, hope we are doing good.
Today let’s talk about miscarriages, one of the worst ordeal a couple could ever experience.
About 10-20% of pregnancies end in miscarriage, with majority of them happening in the first 13 weeks of pregnancy. Some of the causes and risk factors include:
▪️chromosomal abnormalities - genetic conditions
▪️maternal health conditions which include diseases like thyroid disease, uncontrolled diabetes, infections, uterine and cervix abnormalities, as well as obesity amongst others
▪️maternal age ie older than 35, with the risk increasing with age.
▪️smoking, alcohol, illegal drugs, caffeine
▪️history of previous miscarriage

After a miscarriage we recommend that you get help, visit a clinician who assists you with the appropriate management that includes treatment and future pregnancy plans.
