WHY IS YOUR URINE COMING OUT SLOWLY?
The main reason for this in men is usually the prostate gland.
✅ In a healthy prostate, the urethra (urine passage) is wide open and urine flows freely with no pain or delay.
❌ But when the prostate enlarges, it starts pressing on the urethra. This compression makes the passage very narrow, so urine only comes out little by little.
👉 This is why:
You feel pain when urinating
Urine flows slowly
You may feel like your bladder is not fully empty
⚠️ The danger is that urine left inside the bladder can cause:
Bladder stones (crystallized urine)
Kidney infections
Kidney damage due to urine flowing back into the kidneys
💡 So, slow urination is not just a small issue—it’s a sign your prostate might be enlarged, and it needs attention before more serious problems start.
