Today, the 27th of January 2026, newly recruited CBDs and CBD Supervisors received mentorship from the seasoned CBD Supervisors Mr. Muzvondiwa and Mr. Chavhura of Shurugwi and Chirumhanzu respectively. The mentors emphasized the importance of recording one's work and took the participants through the CBD Record Book, Monthly Return Forms, Work Schedule and Stock management, among other critical issues.

The Community Based distribution Programme (CBD) is pivotal in expanding access to family planning services in under-served and rural communities. This week, ZNFPC Midlands and the MoHCC successfully completed the Sayana Press self-care sensitization across the remaining 5 districts of Mberengwa, Zvishavane, Shurugwi, Chirumhanzu and Gweru. Through our collaborative efforts, we managed to come up with key actionable recommendations to ensure full roll-out of the self-care option across all the districts, empowering our communities to take charge of their health.
