Night of Legends Shines at HICC as Mandipa Hope Rehabilitation Centre and Director Carol Tapfumaneyi Take Top Honors

The long-awaited Night of Legends lit up the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) in a spectacular celebration of excellence, achievement, and national pride. Following overwhelming public interest, the event initially scheduled for the Jacaranda Room was successfully moved to the grand HICC, offering an even more electrifying atmosphere for guests, performers, and nominees.

Attendees arrived in high spirits, collecting their attires THE SACRED GOWN AND THE SACRED BLAZER at the venue and stepping into an evening filled with glamour, unforgettable performances, and the rare opportunity to rub shoulders with Zimbabwe’s most outstanding trailblazers.

One of the night’s most emotional highlights was the recognition of Mandipa Hope, celebrated as a heroic rehabilitation centre for its profound impact on uplifting and transforming lives across the country. The institution’s unwavering commitment to restoring hope and dignity in individuals earned it one of the evening’s top honors.

Adding to the celebration, Carol Tapfumaneyi, the visionary director of Mandipa Hope, received the prestigious award for Legendary Rehabilitation Director. Her leadership, compassion, and dedication to advancing rehabilitation services were recognized as instrumental in shaping Mandipa Hope into a beacon of transformation and resilience.

*Director Carol Mashingaidze Tapfumaneyi Visits Rukariro Rehabilitation Centre*

This week, our Director, Mrs. Carol Mashingaidze Tapfumaneyi, visited Rukariro Rehabilitation Centre in Odzi to engage with staff and residents and assess the needs of the facility.

Rukariro houses individuals living with psychiatric and physical challenges, and despite facing serious resource limitations, the dedication of the staff remains inspiring.

“Rukariro is more than a care facility, it is a place of hope. We must ensure it receives the attention and support it deserves.” said Mrs. Tapfumaneyi

Another beautiful and Spirit-filled day with the missionaries, Professor Lee and his son, all the way from America.

Today, they spent meaningful time with the clients at Mandipa Hope, offering encouragement, prayer, and the love of Christ to those walking through challenging seasons.

A heartfelt thank you to Apostle Joshua Alphasi of God’s Tabernacle International Church for opening the door and giving us the opportunity to serve alongside these humble servants of God.

These moments remind us that ministry is not always in the pulpit — sometimes it’s in a quiet room, a gentle prayer, or simply being present in love.
