Hilpaul Health Scan Clinic is a private provider of ultrasound scans. Examinations are performed by fully qualified Ultrasonographers with significant experience working in private and government Hospitals.

3)⭐What is Ultrasound?⭐
Ultrasound imaging is a method of acquiring information about the inside of the body using high frequency sound waves. Ultrasound imaging is captured in real-time and can show the size, shape and texture of internal organs and blood vessels.
How is it performed? 🤨
For some ultrasound scans, patient preparation is required. Detailed instructions will be given at the time of booking.
You may be asked to change into a gown before your scan.
During the scan, you will be asked to lie, usually face up, on the ultrasound bed.
A gel is applied to the skin and an ultrasound probe is moved over the gel to acquire the images.
📄When do I get my results? 📄
After your scan we will discuss your results if necessary.
You will also receive a written report in less than 15 minutes after the scan. 🖋️📃
4) What areas can ultrasound investigate? 🤔
Maternity ultrasound (early pregnancy, gender, anomaly, reassurance and growth.
General ultrasound (abdomen, pelvis, kidneys, soft tissue assessment, te**es, breasts and thyroid.)
Musculo-skeleltal (shoulder, wrist, elbow, knee, ankle and hip)
5) What areas can ultrasound NOT investigate? 🤨
Bones
Stomach
Bowel
Lungs
Brain
Spine (muscular pain)
