With support from Porticus, Musasa held a PaMusasa community dialogue at Domboramavara Primary School in Chikomba Ward 22.

Through the Porticus project, Musasa continues to provide safe spaces for women and girls in Chikomba District Wards 22, 23, and 25.
These spaces offer a supportive environment where women and girls can come together, discuss issues affecting their lives and build confidence.
They gain GBV knowledge, understand the referral pathway and strengthen their financial empowerment, creating pathways to safety, independence and dignity.

Today, Musasa set up a safe space for women and girls in Betera Ward 20, Buhera under the OXFAM–SDC project.
The first session introduced a community place where women and girls can feel valued, find protection, de-stress, build confidence, and access opportunities that help them take charge of their lives.

Yesterday, Musasa held a community dialogue at Chimbudzi Business Centre, supported by SDC, bringing together around 100 community members, 70% of them women, along with representatives from Women Affairs, Social Development, ZRP, Ministry of Health, and the Ward Councillor.

The dialogue created a platform to break the silence on GBV, strengthen community collaboration, and raise awareness on the causes and prevention of violence.
Participants crafted powerful anti-GBV messages (SMS) challenging harmful cultural norms and embraced a new community slogan “Pazvaitikira, Taura!” (When it happens, Speak Out!).
