Surgimed Zimbabwe Since 02 August 1982 Surgimed has been Zimbabwe's lead supplier of medical equipment and surgical products to hospitals, clinic and medical practitioners.

Surgimed has operated for more than three decades since 02 August 1982. In addition to importing a range of medical products the firm also makes medical equipment at its production facility in Harare’s Msasa industrial area.

“Providing quality products coupled with service excellence is the foundation on which Surgimed was built,” says Danny Meyer the firm's founder. Pio Chihono, who joined the firm as a young man more than two decades ago in 1992 is the chief executive. Although Meyer, a past president of the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce and a former non-partisan city councillor is no longer directly engaged in daily operations, he remains active as chairman and mentor to Chihono and the firm's management.
