As Ethiopia is just entering an election year, our focus was working with local journalists to reimagine election coverage, making it engaging, accurate and interactive.

From experimenting with creative storytelling formats to exploring AI tools in the newsroom, the challenge was simple: break comfort zones. Dare to be different. Tell stories that connect.

Africa is at a turning point for climate and health justice. 🌍

As new coal, oil and gas projects move forward communities continue to face the real costs -polluted air, climate shocks, and deepening health inequalities.

Today, our Creative Director, is part of this powerful continental conversation: From Cradle to Grave: The Health Toll of Fossil Fuels and the Imperative for a Just Transition.

The report being launched is the first global study documenting fossil fuel–related health harms across the entire life course — from early exposure to long-term disease.

He’ll be sharing how creative African youth movements are reshaping the narrative around fossil fuels, climate, and health and how Magamba Network uses political satire and digital activism to speak truth to power.

When fossil fuel expansion is packaged as “progress,” we must ask: progress for who? And at what cost?
