Global Aid Missions joined the rest of the world in commemorating International Albinism Awareness Day. The event was held on the 28th June 2025 in the Harare Gardens. The event incorporated children living with albinism, their parents and caregivers, and members of the clergy. Special thanks to all our sponsors for helping us make this happen. Blessings to all!

Honoured for her past and ongoing work at the UN human rights mandate on albinism and for tackling harmful practices related to accusations of witchcraft and ritual attacks.

Ghanaian video game company Leti Arts with support from Institut Français Ghana launched the superhero comic book” Blind Frontiers: Niuma’s Tale” on 28th February 2022. Niuma, a character with albinism is the first superheroine from west Africa.
