Good morning. I wonder if you have had the same recent experiences I have had? The first one was of someone over the age of 50, who was not on medical aid. The complications and of joining one anew, at that age are enormous and costly.
The second was of a young woman who found herself pregnant and not on medical aid. Again, very costly to pay for it all expenses oneself. The waiting period of claims for pregnancy varies from 9 months to 1 year. Many postpone joining medical aid organisations. The answer - Don't delay. Join as soon as you can.
