The Harare City Junior Council is a non-profit making organisation which aims to promote the youths of Harare in arts, anti-abuse campaigns, bringing wealth and gender to equilibrium and raising awareness on disability, HIV and AIDS and poverty. Harare Junior Council Aims to :
1.To provide a means whereby senior scholars may obtain a knowledge of civic affairs
2.To report to senior scholars information pertinent to City Council
3.To create an organization representative of all senior schools within the area of jurisdiction of the City Council
4.To create a liaison between the young people of Harare and the City Council
5.To provide the young people of Harare with a means by which they make known their opinions and feelings
6.By the example set by the Junior Council to encourage a desire among the younger citizens of Harare to participate actively in the affairs of the City
7.To create an organization which is involved with the affairs of the young people of Harare
