As we come to the end of the year, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our patients for trusting us with your eye care throughout the past year.

We know this season can feel very different for each of us. Wherever you find yourself — may you be met with gentleness, understanding, and care. Please remember to look after one another, and yourselves.

Eyepod Victoria Falls will be closed from 19 December and will reopen on 5 January.

We look forward to welcoming you back in 2026, and continuing our journey of caring for your vision together, alongside our colleagues at The Eye Institute.

Our optometrist Gracious from Eyepod Victoria Falls proudly hands over spectacles to the children of Chisuma Primary School, completing a journey that began in March with eye screenings by the Jafuta Foundation and Eyepod.

Through continued collaboration with the Pamozi Trust and their refurbished spectacles — and support from JCI — we’ve helped young learners see the world more clearly. 👓

What a truly special day at Mosi Oa Tunya School in Victoria Falls!

Together with our amazing partners, we screened over 150 children — all of whom had already shared that they were struggling with their eyesight. 🌈

Seeing their excitement and curiosity as we helped them through their eye checks was just beautiful. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do — every clear view, every smile, and every child who can now see the world a little brighter makes it all worth it! 👓

A heartfelt thank you to dear Elitah, founder of Pamozi, for leading this wonderful initiative, and to our partners — Unhambi, Children’s Fountain of Hope, Dress a Child, JCI, and The Eye Institute - Eyepod Victoria Falls — for coming together to make a difference. 💪🏽

Yesterday was nothing short of amazing! Our Eyepod Victoria Falls team had the incredible opportunity to visit Lesedi School for a second time for our eye screening session. The energy, smiles, and enthusiasm from the students and staff made the day so rewarding.

We checked dozens of young eyes, helping ensure the learners can see their books, boards, and bright futures clearly! For some, this screening was a first step toward improved vision—and we couldn't be prouder to be part of their journey.

Lesedi is a beautiful Setswana word that means "light" or "illumination" in English.
It symbolises knowledge, hope, and enlightenment, bringing clarity, guidance, or positivity to a situation—just like a shining light in the darkness. It represents the illumination that education brings to young minds.

A huge thank you to Lesedi Schools & Clinic, for the warm welcome, and to our dedicated Eyepod team for their hard work and passion.
