Condolences to the family, friends, community members, and HECOPAB team country wide to announce the death of our Community Health Worker, Ms. Glenda Sutherland from More Tomorrow.
Ms. Glenda, a beloved and respected CHW, sadly passed away on July 22, 2024. She is now one of the guardian angels who will always be remembered amongst us. Ms. Glenda joined the HECOPAB family at Western Regional Hospital in 2010. She was quiet, attentive, loving, and dedicated to her family and community. Ms. Glenda was passionate about her commitment as a CHW to her community. She had brought assurance and trust in serving her community. She loved educating the school children about healthy eating, hygiene, and other health awareness. She had built a raptor with everyone in her community from babies to the elder. Ms. Glenda was one of the greatest links between her community and the Western Regional Hospital. She will be sadly missed by many, but never forgotten.
Before the nurses' week is over, WRH would like to thank Our Lady of Guadelupe RC School for token of appreciation sent to MCH nurses

Happy Nurses Week - thank you to all the nurses of the Western Health Region for the good they do every day
