Love to see programs like this operating across the country

A huge congratulations to accredited Justice Facility Dog Winston who supported his first victim today during a sexual assault trial on the witness stand at the Moncton Law Courts.

Here he is shown in a witness stand that was built on site at the Centre de ressources et de crises familiales Beauséjour practicing for his big day today.

He did great, but most importantly so did the survivor who spoke with courage and determination.

We are proud of you both!

A quick trip road trip to Edmonton includes the following:
My comfy dog bed - of course, mom‘s hillbilly heated seat (hot water bottle), a visit with my brother and sister-in-law 🥰, a quick ultrasound scan of my mom - so Amy can practice, a beautiful winter view from their apartment while we ate dinner, and a comfy stay in their guest suite.

Had a surprise visit from one of my former colleagues who is still one of my besties. She took me along to one of the local high schools for a police vs. student volleyball game. It was so good to see everyone and it was a little strange just being a guest this time. Thanks for the invite.
