Who doesn't love a good protein ball??? It's the perfect snack when you're too busy to make anything but want to feel full!

Here is my favorite recipe!

PROTEIN BALLS
- 1 cup nut butter
- 3-5 pitted medjool dates
- 2/3 cup h**p seeds
- 1/4 cup chia seeds, or another type of seed
- 3-4 Tbsp protein powder
Optional Add-ins and coatings
- Chocolate chips
- Tart cherries
- Coconut
- Cocoa
Instructions
1. Add nut butter, pitted dates, h**p seeds, chia seeds, and protein powder to a food processor or blender and blend until all ingredients are well combined and a cookie dough-like texture forms.
2. If too wet, add more dry ingredients of choice, such as protein powder or h**p seeds. If too crumbly or dry, add a little more nut butter. NOTE: These are meant to be on the tender side, so don't be concerned if they're a little soft (they'll firm up in the refrigerator or freezer).
3. Scoop out about 1 Tbsp amounts and roll into balls. Place on a parchment-lined plate or platter.
4. Roll the balls in desiccated coconut or cocoa if desired.
5. Transfer balls to the freezer or refrigerator to chill for 15 minutes to firm up.  We recommend storing these in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or in the freezer up to 1 month for best texture. They are delicious straight out of the refrigerator or freezer and tend to soften at room temperature.
