On March 17 2024 Jillians Scout Troop is doing a silent auction and Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser. For their trip to Pacific Jamboree in July.
Tickets are $15.00
Doors open at 3:00 pm
Dinner service starts at 4:00
At the Moyer Recenter 54569, Range Rd 215, Josephburg, AB T8L 4B9

There will be gluten free and dairy free options available as well.

Hello Everyone I'm a Scouter with the 153rd Ardrossan Scout Group and in April we will be holding our annual Popcorn fundraiser. We have a new Canadian Supplier Papa Jack popcorn.

The Fundraiser helps the youth directly as they are able to fund their Scouting Adventures, purchase equipment and items related to camping and Scouting. The youth see a 45% return from each product sold.

Now do to Covid we are encouraging our youth to sell to families, friends and for parents support with online sales and not door to door. However we as a group can also purchase a large order of popcorn and sell it as an example at farmer's market.

So my end question is as I know our community loves supporting their Scouting and their Girl Guides community. Are you interested in purchasing Scouts popcorn and supporting your local youth in their Scouting Adventures?

Hello Everyone on Dec 4 2019 at Holy Redeemer school the 153rd Ardrossan Scout Group is Hosting its third Annual Christmas bags of Hope to support the Mustard Seed.
If I could please ask all of you to spread the word that we are looking for donations for the event and that we are looking for the following keys items. So if you know someone or wish to support our Event we will be forever grateful.
Christmas bags of Joy 2019

Wool/thermal socks

Gloves, toque & scarf

Toilet paper

Bus tickets

Deodorant

Soap

Neck warmer

Travel toothbrush and toothpaste

Small, warm blanket (attach to outside if it won’t fit)

Proud of the Scout Troop as they had a great time a iron chef camp this weekend, the troop finished 1st in the team challenge 3rd in the cooking contest and they were the overall winners of the camp.. Congratulations to the the 153rd Ardrossan Scout Troop.

Scout Troop at Iron Chef 2019 the Troop came first over all for the challenge portion of the camp.. the challenge areas tested their ability to work together as patrol, skills and attitude.
Scouter Roy got to be a judge for the cooking portion of camp and I can say all the meals were fantastic.

Our last Cubs event of the year is complete!
A voyageur canoe tour of Astotin Lake in Elk Island National Park.
We had perfect weather, made it all of the way around the lake, saw a lot of pelicans, and a super fun day.
We capped off with a bbq lunch in the park for the whole group.
