The Shoppers Foundation for Women’s Health wants to help create menstrual equity in Canada. And so, today, the Foundation made a commitment – in partnership with Always – to donate 12 million period products over the next three years to the province of Saskatchewan.

This is the third donation the Foundation has made to provinces recently, with others going to Ontario and Manitoba. The Foundation believes menstrual products aren’t a luxury item, and that no one should be disadvantaged in any way because they get their period. Period.

Shoppers Drug Mart has recently re-launched its charitable arm the Shoppers Foundation for Women’s Health™. The Foundation’s mandate is to help foster health equity so that all women in Canada can lead healthier lives.

The Foundation has launched a Community Grants Program that funds local charitable programs (registered charities) and innovative initiatives, aimed at improving access to equitable and inclusive care for all women in Canada.

We are now accepting Community Grants applications! Grants of up to $100,000 are available and the application deadline is May 5th, 2023.
