Access Abilities We provide aids for daily living, home health care, & mobility equipment to people of all ages. Work with many funding and insurance agencies.

We can help you take care of your home health care needs and we will do it with a smile. We provide exemplary sales, service and rentals of home health care equipment to help enhance the quality of life for people of all ages experiencing mobility and/or accessibility challenges.We rent almost everything we sell and credit the first month rent towards purchase of same (new) product. We service alm

ost everything we carry and also service products purchased elsewhere. We have a well stocked in-house service department and will also go where needed to perform a repair. Work with Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists providing assessment equipment. If you are having trouble accessing multi levels inside or outside of your home, we have options to help you including ramps, porch lifts, and stair lifts. We carry CPAP therapy supplies for the treatment of sleep apnea for a better night's sleep. If sitting down or standing from a seated position is difficult you may wish to speak with us about a lift and recline chair. We have many other solutions including bedroom and bathroom safety, and mobility scooters including those suitable for air or cruise ship travel. Our many services for long-term care, retirement, and group homes include medical equipment maintenance, lifting/transfer devices, sleep surfaces, discreet incontinence program, upbeat and informative education for staff and residents. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will help find a solution that will make life a little easier for you. The owners of Access Abilities along with their staff are firmly committed to community giving. Together they spend countless hours supporting causes that enhance the well being of others. Thank you to ALL who came out to our Annual Strawberry Shortcake and Ice-cream Social this past week. We were delighted to once again see so many of our favourite smiling faces! A special thank you to Donna of Heart to Home Meals Oakville for supplying and serving the delicious cake and ice cream, KyKy Cookies, Oakville Councillor Sean O’Meara for helping to serve and Jay Franco, One Man Big Band for the musical entertainment. Many thanks to our wonderful staff for their help to make this event happen.

Many thanks to Julie Pennal and team for hosting the Older Adult Centre Information Fair earlier this week! We enjoyed hosting our table and chatting with many wonderful people. Did you see something magical in Central Parkway this morning? Today, we were ‘shoes on the ground’ for our Annual Walkathon! This year, we had lots of Halloween Hijnx during our walk together in support of healthier aging. We showed off our spirit with festive costumes to celebrate fitness, fun, and friendship together. Wishing everyone a most wonderful Thanksgiving Monday and sending a huge shout out and sincerest thanks to our Veterans whose tremendous sacrifices enable us to enjoy peace and freedom in our beautiful country.

Happy Canada Day everyone! Celebrating our beautiful nation and our Veterans, our nation’s Heroes with much gratitude for the peace and freedom we enjoy here in Canada!

Celebrating Volunteer Week and sending heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful volunteers for giving so generously of your time and talents to help others.

It was really great to see Raymond Cho, Minister of Seniors and Accessibility speak and host a fun mini laughter session at the Active Adult Centre of Mississauga Fair sponsored by Older Adult Centres Association of Ontario and Ontario Seniors. He is a very energetic 82 years young!

Remembering our Veterans and all who serve our beautiful country. We will never forget the tremendous sacrifices made and that continue to be made for the freedom and peaceful way of life we enjoy here in Canada. We are forever indebted to you.

Big shout out and heartfelt thanks to the 800 + wonderful people of all ages and abilities who braved below freezing temperatures to ring in the New Year at the 31st annual Courage Polar Bear Dip in Oakville on Friday January 1! Over $130,000 was raised in support of World Vision's clean water projects in Rwanda. Congratulations everyone! Great job!
