Fun Fact: Did you know Silhouette's are worn by astronouts on many space missions, the iconic Titan Minimal Art has provided clarity of vision for astronoauts since the year 2000.

Yesterday the Abbey Eye Care team spent some time learning about all things Silhouette. Silhouette is an Austrian brand best known for its high-quality eyewear, particularly its lightweight and minimalist frame designs. Founded in 1964 by Werner and Andreas Sailer in Linz, Austria, the company initially focused on the production of optical frames. Silhouette revolutionized the eyewear industry with its iconic "Titan Minimal Art" collection in the 1990s, which showcased its expertise in creating nearly weightless, rimless frames using advanced materials such as titanium.
