Importance of Nursing Foot Care in Vascular Health 🦶✨

Many lower limb conditions can develop silently, leading to pain, reduced mobility, and serious complications. Nursing Foot Care plays a vital role in detecting early signs of vascular disease and ensuring proper intervention.

Common Lower Limb Vascular Conditions:

🔴 Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) – A condition where narrowed arteries reduce blood flow to the legs, causing pain, numbness, and slow-healing wounds.
🔵 Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD) – A broader term for circulation disorders that affect blood vessels outside the heart, often leading to swelling, skin changes, and ulcers.
🟢 Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI) – A condition where weakened vein valves cause blood to pool in the legs, leading to varicose veins, swelling, and skin breakdown.

Managing Onyfix expectations:

Where there were only options for nail removal performed by a doctor there is now ONYFIX!

*Refer to the photo of what to expect when having Onyfix treatment for your toenail(s)

*Onyfix is a nail correction system for clients with In-grown toenails, involuted nails, pincer nails, and other nail deformities, it offers a non- surgical option, or options for nail damage/ abnormalities where there were never options before.

*It is not a "one and done" thing, Onyfix corrects over time, you'll need to be seen monthly for a few appointments and get reapplication of the band(s) 2-4 times depending on the nail dystrophy / anatomy, individual lifestyle, growth speed, etc.

*Onyfix gives an option for those that do not want their toenails surgically removed, who are on blood thinners, poor healing ability, diabetic, cannot afford to pay hundreds of dollars for surgery, cant take time off work to heal from the surgery, etc.... Onyfix has the ability to fix many nail issues.... if you're curious about it, send a message, no strings attached, I'm here to answer your questions!
