Meet Lindsay Cartwright, PT
Lindsay first started at BCCR in 2022. She has a lifelong passion of working with children. After having her first baby, she was inspired to focus her practice on pediatrics.
Lindsay has achieved her Level 2 in TMR/Total Motion Release - this involves finding the most comfortable position for a child, while working on releasing tight tissues and then letting the child reach their potential in their new found range of motion. She is passionate about working with families to help their little ones with plagiocephaly, torticollis, and work towards motor milestones.

Meet Katelin (Katy), one of our amazing physiotherapists. Katy moved to Saugeen Shores in 2017 as it is an outdoor paradise with endless trails and beaches to explore. Upon arriving, she was lucky to find BCCR, a clinic with a team based approach to help individuals achieve their rehab goals. Since starting her physiotherapy career in 2015, Katelin has treated a wide variety of orthopedic injuries but has narrowed her focus to be on persistent pain, post concussion management and vestibular rehabilitation (dizziness and imbalance).Katelin often uses an approach called myoActivation, an incredibly effective and fast acting dry needling technique for individuals with chronic pain originating in the muscles and fascia. Meet Rachel Choi, one of BCCR's amazing registered massage therapists.Originally from Toronto, Rachel moved to Port Elgin in 2021 and joined the BCCR team in 2022. Graduating from Centennial College in 2019 for Massage Therapy, Rachel strongly believes that rest is an integral part of well being and is needed, not earned. She is currently taking the Vodder MLD course and is passionate about Manual Lymphatic Drainage.Currently, Rachel is not accepting new patients but does have a waitlist for anyone interested in becoming a patient.

Meet one of BCCR’s physiotherapists, Emily Villeneuve.Emily is a 2021 graduate of the Master of Science in Physical Therapy program at Queen’s University. Emily’s passion for movement and health began playing sports and regularly engaging in physical activity at a very young age. Since then, she has continued this passion through her education and active lifestyle. Meet Rachel Hannah, BCCR's Registered Dietitian.
Rachel started at BCCR in July 2023 with the goal of helping the Saugeen Shores community with their nutritional needs and joining an excellent team of practitioners. She moved to Port Elgin 3 years ago and does a lot of virtual sessions, but has really enjoyed meeting with people in the clinic.
Rachel specializes in sports nutrition and weight management. She also can help manage other chronic conditions like diabetes, PCOS, heart disease, iron deficiency, bone density issues and gastrointestinal concerns.
Rachel is also an elite runner who mainly competes in the marathon distance. She has represented team Canada in Cross Country running and in road racing. She feels healthier and more competitive at age 37 than she did in her late 20's after studying more on sports nutrition and applying it to her own training program. She helps athletes of all abilities achieve their health and performance goals.

This week’s Meet the Team features Jessica Larson, PT.
Jessica grew up in Saugeen Shores and returned to BCCR as a physiotherapist in 2023 after working in the Guelph area. She earned her undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph and then continued her education with a Masters of Physiotherapy from Western University.

Meet one of BCCR’s exceptional chiropractors, Dr. Cory Dick!
Dr. Cory Dick is a chiropractor who joined BCCR in 2018 to provide evidence-informed manual therapy to the Bruce County community. Cory’s practice focuses on repetitive use and athletic injuries.
Cory grew up in Port Elgin and along with his spouse, Laura, have three children who love to participate in many of the sports and activities Saugeen Shores has to offer.

Meet Adam Holborn, PT.
Adam Holborn moved to Saugeen Shores in 2018 and joined the BCCR team in 2020. Adam is a physiotherapist who takes a special interest in treating concussions, vestibular dysfunctions and shoulder injuries. He is also certified through Titleist Performance Institute to help golfers with their injuries or other golf related issues.

Meet Dr. Justine Watson.
Dr. Justine Watson started as a chiropractor at BCCR in 2019. She is a certified provider of clinical acupuncture, and has completed additional training in functional biomechanics, pregnancy therapy, and running analysis/injury treatment. She also runs BCCR’s GLA:D Canada arthritis program.

Meet Dr. Jenna Dreyer!
Dr. Jenna Dreyer started at BCCR in 2022 and has been a joyful and positive addition to the team.
Dr. Jenna Dreyer is a certified provider of Function Integrative Acupuncture and has completed additional courses in soft tissue release therapy, kinesiology taping, and extremity adjusting.

This Meet the Team features Sasha Hammell, PT. A friendly face at BCCR working as a physiotherapist for over a decade.
Sasha joined the BCCR team in 2013 with the goal of working as part of a multidisciplinary team in order to deliver exceptional, holistic, evidence-based patient centered care. She grew up in Saugeen Shores and now lives just outside of town with her husband Tim and two boys, Ben and Jacob, who are very active both on their farm and in various extra curricular activities.
In her spare time, you can find Sasha at the ball diamond, at the rink watching her boys play hockey, and also coaching power skating to various kids in the community.
