March 19th is Swallowing Awareness Day!
Eating, drinking and swallowing are essential parts of most people’s day and the ability to do so is often taken for granted, but for some people it is not that easy.

S-LPs play a vital role in providing essential evaluation and intervention services for individuals with swallowing and feeding disorders across the lifespan.

Together, let’s shine a light on the incredible work of S-LPs and the impact they have on improving quality of life. 💙

To learn more about swallowing disorders and S-LPs role in treatment, access our Dysphagia Resource Collection: https://www.sac-oac.ca/practice-resources/resource-library/toolkits/dysphagia-resource-collection/
