Residents at Anchor - Townend Close were joined by children from a local school to celebrate World Book Day.

The children from Glusburn School brought along their favourite books to share with residents at Townend Close care home in Keighley. Residents also shared memories of their own favourite books from when they were young, and also the ones that they read to their children and grandchildren.

We know that regular physical activity is important for both our physical health and mental wellbeing. Keeping active for even just a couple of hours a week can make a big difference to healthy ageing.

Across our care homes we offer an energised, exciting and fun physical activity programme called Zest which is designed for all needs and abilities.

Here's the programme in action at Anchor - Canterbury House.
