Homoeopathy and Acupuncture and Seasonal allergies.

Spring and Summer certainly do bring joyful times- The days get longer, and the temperature warms up and everything blooms and blossoms. However, for those that suffer with seasonal allergies like hay fever the pollen and grass cutting can cause a miserable time! Many suffer this time of year with symptoms such as sneezing, watery eyes, sinus congestion and itchy throat and nose.
HOMOEOPATHY

Our homoeopath Therese finds herself prescribing the following common remedies at this time of year-
Allium Cepa (red onion) 🧅- based on the principle of "like curing like", so think of chopping an onion. Steaming eyes, runny nose.

Mixed Pollens - again, the principle of "like cures like". If you know more specifically the types you react to, there are also Mixed Grasses and Mixed Trees.

Wyethia - itchy roof of the mouth, ears, nose and a dry, irritable cough.

Sabadilla - itchy nose and throat and LOTS of sneezing!

These are just a few; there are many more to choose from.

ACUPUNCTURE
Allergies are caused by our immunes system reaction to substances like pollen or animal hair. Reiki is a Japanese energy healing practice rooted in the life energy that flows through all living things.

A Reiki session is carried out with the client laying comfortably on a massage couch on their back with their shoes removed or sitting comfortably in a chair, whilst the practitioner transfers energy through their palms to the client laying hands on or off the body.
