With the recent increase of flu cases with more and more falling ill here is the last call for patients to receive their Flu or Covid immunisations. If you fall into any of the below categories and have not had your immunisations please contact the surgery ASAP to secure your dose.
• Patients aged 65 years and older
• Patients under 65 with an underlying medical condition
• Pregnant women
• Registered Carers of at risk patients
• Household contacts of immunocompromised patients
• Frontline health and care workers
All immunisations administered by highly trained primary care clinicians who have your best interests at heart ❤

We are proud to support the ‘Investors in Carers’ Carers Rights Day 2024 (with a free event also being held in Aberystwyth Rugby Club today between 10am and 3pm)

Having recently attained the Bronze Level Award, the Surgery is committed to supporting Carers and making them aware of the help and resources available to them. Onward to the Silver!

The Investors in Carers scheme is designed to help health, social care, third sector and other organisations focus on, and improve, their carer awareness and the help and support they give to carers. The scheme is delivered by Hywel Dda University Health Board and is supported by its local authority and third sector partners in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire…

New Quay Surgery COVID-19 Booster Campaign 2024/25

COVID-19 vaccination is an important part of protecting yourself if you're at increased risk from COVID-19. Please contact the surgery as soon as possible to request a COVID-19 vaccine if you:

> are aged 65 years or over
> live in a care home for older adults
> are aged 6 months or over in a clinical risk group
(Heart disease, Diabetes, Chronic lung diseases,
Obesity & Chronic kidney disease)

If you fit into any of these categories, please contact the surgery to request your Covid booster along with your flu immunisation.
