Kinetic sand is by far my most popular activity on a Wednesday school day. Always requested and enjoyed.
I love the stuff too π₯°
Kinetic sand is a blank canvas allowing children to create, acknowledge, explore, often destroy and recreate their thoughts, feelings and experiences.
An extension of this activity are sand trays, which can be a powerful way for adults to "play" in sessions. To explore their own thoughts, feelings and experiences within the safe boundaries of a container.
I believe you are never to old to "play" π
I am still currently fully booked but please do get in touch if you or your young person would like to be added to my short wait list for consultation in the future.

"Glimmers" are small moments that spark joy or peace, which help our nervous systems feel safe or calm.
An opportunity to enjoy play can certainly bring on a "glimmer" π
If you or your person are interested in counselling please feel free to look at my website for more details and get in touch.
I currently have a few spaces free on a Thursday afternoon from September.

Therapy Space
Over the past few weeks I've had a few enquiries about where my face to face therapy sessions take place.
It can be a big decision to start counselling and then more courage is used to make initial contact.
If making my therapy room more transparent and relatable makes the process any easier then I will do so.
I thought I'd make this little film to show you and anyone who is interested in beginning therapy sessions with me, where they would be.
(I also offer online and phonecall alternatives)
Please see my website for more details:

Little trip in-between storms to Nymans for the winter lights.
The crisp cold and the smell of daphne all around added to the experience.
I hope you can make time for something that brings you joy this week.

Uncertainty is all about.
A focus on joy, fun and connection with my young clients today.
Clay play, drawing, painting, singing, craft, dancing, a walk, meditation...pick your joy π
