Thank you for our beautiful cake delivery. This will certainly ease the pain of a busy Monday at the surgery for the staff 🙌 much appreciated.
National Heart Month - February
Please do feel free to pop into the surgery, or if you’re already there for an appointment/picking up prescriptions etc. and take your latest blood pressure reading and give to the reception team to note in your records. It only takes a few minutes as you can see from Georgie’s video and could indicate if you need a check up with a clinician if it’s running on the high side. High blood pressure could indicate an underlying health condition which can be dealt with before it becomes a problem.
**Flu Clinics**
Have started!! If you are eligible and haven’t booked yours please do give us a call to arrange. As you can see, when I got mine this morning, it only took a couple of minutes.
Today’s clinic and Saturday’s are being held at St Michael’s Church.

Keeping it clean!
Between each patient consultation we make sure we clean down the room to adhere to strict infection control measures. Please be reassured we are doing all we can to protect our patients catching Covid-19. See the team in action!
Tests in the car park
Did you know you can now get some of your tests completed in the car park? So you can get essential tests but limit your time in the surgery we can complete some blood tests eg INR tests. You don't even need to leave the comfort of your car! Here is Joy completing an INR. Thank you so much to our patient who agreed to be filmed. We are most grateful.

Screening at the surgery
***IMPORTANT***
Coming into the surgery - Everyone is to be screened coming into the surgery. Please see video as demonstration.
Please wait outside the doors at least 2m apart from others waiting outside. Please do not congregate outside together. This is to prevent you catching Covid-19 in the event of someone having it nearby.
We need to make sure that those coming into the surgery are not suffering with symptoms themselves or from a household where someone else has symptoms.
If you can't come into the surgery to collect prescriptions because you are self-isolating please contact the surgery via email [email protected] and we will arrange for a volunteer to bring it to you.
Many thanks for your understanding.
Make sure you protect you and others from Coronavirus, wash your hands more frequently.

See how quick getting a flu jab is
Here's me getting my flu jab, the whole thing took less than 2 minutes, from sitting down to walking out. It's not too late. Flu is prevalent this year so make sure you are vaccinated.
As you can see, it's so quick you can just pop in, no appointment needed. Plus Joy is some sort of Ninja, it didn't even sting. I was amazed!
