This sweet client of mine is GORGEOUS. In July of 2024, her world was turned upside down. Anna was diagnosed with colon cancer and her spleen ruptured resulting in a splenectomy. She underwent surgeries and months of chemotherapy. She is now CANCER FREE, and boy are we on cloud 9 with her results.

Anna came to me for a lengthy consultation, we put together a treatment plan, and she has stayed the course. My ultimate goal Is to make her feel refreshed, natural and ALIVE.

**What Is Migrated Lip Filler?** this is NOT MY WORK‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

Migrated lip filler occurs when the dermal filler moves beyond the intended area, typically above the natural lip border, creating an uneven, puffy, or unnatural appearance. Instead of staying within the lips, the filler spreads into surrounding tissues, leading to an overfilled or swollen look.

‼️**What Causes Lip Filler Migration?**

1. **Overfilling** – Too much filler at once can create excessive pressure, causing the product to spread outside the lip borders.
2. **Poor Injection Technique** – Incorrect placement, injecting too superficially, or using the wrong technique can lead to migration.
3. **Weak Lip Structure** – If the natural lip tissue lacks support, the filler has a higher chance of moving.
4. **Frequent Touch-Ups Too Soon** – Getting additional filler before the previous treatment has settled can cause product buildup and migration.
5. **Inappropriate Filler Choice** – Some fillers are too soft or too thick for lips, making them more prone to spreading.
6. **Excessive Movement & Pressure** – Constant lip movement, frequent lip biting, or using straws excessively after treatment may contribute to migration.

MYTH: “GLP-1’s cause significant muscle loss”

BUST: Let’s set the record straight—GLP-1 receptor agonists like Ozempic, Wegovy, and Mounjaro don’t directly "eat away" your muscle mass. Any weight loss medication (or diet) can lead to some muscle loss if you’re not maintaining proper nutrition and resistance training. The key factor isn’t the medication itself—it’s how you lose the weight.

**The Truth:**
✔️ **Muscle loss occurs with ANY weight loss** – When you lose weight, some muscle loss can happen, but it’s mostly due to calorie restriction, not the GLP-1 medication itself.
