Wednesday, October 9 – 1:30 p.m. Update
The outer bands of Hurricane Milton have started to reach southwest Florida. All residents that have been evacuated from our communities in Mandatory Evacuation Zones have arrived at their host communities and have settled in. Our host communities are fully stocked with water, supplies and Team Members. As always, our highest priority is keeping our residents and Team Members safe.
We are expecting Hurricane Milton to make landfall between Tampa, Florida and Sarasota, Florida tonight, sometime after midnight. Please refer to specific information under each community below and follow community pages for the latest information.

10/10 8:30 a.m. Update: After a harrowing night as Hurricane Milton passed through Florida, we are still working to assess any damage to our communities. We are asking that residents that evacuated DO NOT return to the community until our management team contacts residents with the all-clear. Many communities have lost power at this time. We will post a power update shortly.

Hurricane Milton made landfall near Siesta Key in Sarasota County, Florida, at 8:30 p.m. as a Category 3 Hurricane. We are very thankful and happy to report that our community and residents are safe and secure; however, power is out at this time with a generator running essentials.

At all of our communities, keeping residents safe and their families informed in the event of an emergency remains our top priority. We are following Hurricane Milton’s path closely and have strong emergency preparedness plans in place. We’re set to support and protect communities in all potentially affected areas.
