Congrats to Lauren Burroughs on passing her Certified Hand Therapist examination!

This certification requires 4,000 hours of treatment for the hand and upper extremities and passing a rigorous certification exam to expertise in the occupational field. We are so proud of Lauren's accomplishments!

ProFlex Leonardtown and Lexington Park will collect non-perishable food to donate to a local food bank during this holiday season. We will have boxes in both offices and collect items until November 22.

For every item you donate, you can enter your favorite staff member into a drawing to get pied in the face. The team member who receives the most nominations will get pied!

Have you noticed how some baseball players are wearing what looks like an oven mitt while on base? It is called a sliding mitt and helps protect the player's hand and wrist when diving. Our hand therapists think it is a great idea to prevent injury! If you do have a hand or wrist injury from sliding into home base or just texting too much, we are here to help!

Join us for the Halloween Movie Festival this Saturday! There are prizes for best costumes and lots of fun activities.

Calling all ghosts and ghouls, ninjas and ballerinas, join us for an exciting evening of Halloween fun at the Leonardtown Wharf when the Town of Leonardtown Presents the Leonardtown Halloween Movie Festival at the Wharf sponsored by Jimmy Hayden, Realtor of RE/MAX 100 and Homes for Heroes and ProFlex Physical Therapy Leonardtown on Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 4 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Festivities for this entertaining evening include a screening of the movie, "Ghostbusters", Trunk-or-Treat and a costume contest with gifts and prizes donated from local businesses. This evening will be hosted by the Chesapeake Ghostbusters and will support the Arc of SOMD. Meet and have your photo taken with real-life Ghostbuster characters, enjoy fun activities and thrilling fun!

Introducing Lauren, Lauren is one of our occupational therapists at our Leonardtown location! Lauren is an amazing occupational therapist and cares about her patients deeply!

She thoroughly enjoys staying active by going to CrossFit classes, running, and playing outside with her dog. She also enjoys spending time outdoors, with friends, and family.
