CORRIE JOHNSTONE
Corrie has been a Triathlon Australia Accredited Development Coach since 2013 and completed her Performance Coach accreditation in 2018. Corrie additionally holds Certificates 3 & 4 in Fitness. She has extensive experience in coaching beginner to advanced athletes to multiple personal bests, age group podiums, and World Championship qualifications in both Ironman and Ironman 70.3 distances. She has also coached two female trail runners to complete Fastest Known Time (FKT) records, with several athletes achieving podiums and wins in ultra distance trail races.
A triathlete herself for 4 years, Corrie has personal experience racing various distances of triathlon and has completed eight 70.3 distance triathlons with a number of top 10 age group results, as well placing 3rd in the Overall Pursuit Sprint Series 25-29F in the 14/15 season. She has raced as an A grade cyclist in WA, placed 2nd in the State Open/Elite Road Race Championship in 2017, was 1st Female at the ATTA 2018 Hill Climb Championship and Overall Female Winner of the Goldfields Cyclassic 2018. She also competed in the 2018 Gran Fondo World Championships in Varese, Italy representing her home country of Canada.
