When clinicians feel confident, women get better care. 💫

After last night's GP Education Event, 100% of attendees said they now feel more confident to support women facing pelvic pain, endometriosis and menopause – the type of impact that reaches far beyond one night.

“I’ve never seen a more connected room of professionals. Everybody was engaged. I loved the chance to network and talk to each expert in a small group setting.” – GP event attendee.

A big thanks to our speakers: Dr Sean Copson Thi Anh Oliver Anh Oliver, Caitlin Roche & Irina Baimatova.

We’re continuing to grow this space. Leave us a comment with your suggestions on women's health education topics for GPs – we'd love your input!

We can’t talk about without recognising the women whose voices go unheard. Healthcare must be shaped around the unique barriers women face — especially those in vulnerable groups.

One-size-fits-all healthcare simply doesn't fit anyone. It’s time to listen, amplify their voices, and design health access that reflects the full range of women’s experiences. 🧡

A short history of women’s health milestones over the years — we've come a long way, but we still have a long way to go.

True health equality will be achieved when every woman has access to care that listens, understands, and delivers treatment and services tailored to her needs. 💫

Real progress for women means forging new pathways, uncomfortable conversations and a constant fight for change.

And let’s be honest – real progress often feels like banging on the same door a million times until someone finally opens it.

When our team connected with others doing the work through events, we were grateful to pause, rethink progress, and forge ahead together.

Because progress is urgent and necessary. At the UN Women IWD lunch, Curtin Professor Dr Hannah McGlade reminded us that 10 women have already been killed this year – 9 of them Aboriginal or from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Lives have been cut short, and women from vulnerable groups continue to suffer most. There aren’t enough flexible, culturally safe health options to improve this, at the rate we need it. And that’s a door we’ll never stop banging on.

“If we’re serious about balancing the scales, we must stop pretending it’s a women’s issue – and start recognising it’s a systems issue.” – said human rights lawyer Rabia Siddique at the Ngala IWD Breakfast this morning.

Systems must change. And that change takes courage, discomfort and consistent work to forge new pathways.

Thank you UN Women, Ishar Multicultural Women’s Health Services Inc & Ngala for creating spaces to reflect, and keep moving forward together this IWD

Only 2 in 5 Australian women understand health adequately – and we’re working to change that. [1]

Health knowledge is DEEPLY connected to health outcomes. So for years, we've been running workshops and presentations in communities to raise the health literacy levels.

Our talks focus on what matters to women: perimenopause and menopause, endometriosis and pelvic pain, stress and wellbeing, preventive health checks & more – blending evidence-based research with real stories.

We’re excited to launch this expanded service into: 💫 Health and Wellbeing Education 💫

This means we now offer:

💬 Community Education: where it all began, but we’ve doubled our team to bring more engaging women’s health workshops and topics to community groups.
💼 Corporate Education: our newest addition, helping workplaces support the women in their teams through wellbeing education.
💫 Youth Programs: engaging programs in high schools and youth spaces to help young women create healthy relationships, care for their mental health, and stay safe online.

While this year’s Rotto Swim has just been cancelled, we want to celebrate the incredible training and dedication from Esus Centre and Dream Team! We also thank all 160 donors who generously supported them to raise funds for our women's health services.

Thank you from the bottom of our heart — we hope you get to swim next year. 💫🐬

As far as we know, all donations will still go toward supporting the charities, helping women and children access our lifechanging care.

Too many women just quietly endure painful s*x and vaginal irritation after menopause! It’s common - but it’s also easily treated in most cases.

You don't have to just put up with it - speak to your GP or our Sexual Health Specialist Dr Michelle 🩺💙
