Our women's health education team LOVED connecting with students at Murdoch University's Wellbeing Expo — answering the questions that often go unasked. The ones Googled at midnight. The ones people are too scared to voice out loud.

Watching students walk away more informed, more empowered, and knowing something new about their bodies – that's why we do this. 💫

There's a special kind of energy in a room full of people working for the same purpose. We felt it this morning at the Telethon7 Perth Breakfast. Grateful to be a beneficiary again — every dollar goes straight into the programs that support our most vulnerable children. 💛

We absolutely loved talking to new and expecting mothers over the weekend at Australia's biggest baby expo, about midwifery, postpartum, perinatal mental health and women's health!

It's a true privilege to walk alongside women as they navigate the new world of motherhood, offering our practical and therapeutic support – it's so important they know they're not alone, and that there's services and resources to support them. 💕

Thank you to all the beautiful mothers and families that stopped by our stall, and to Pregnancy Babies and Children's Expo for having us – what an experience!

Diversity will always make our world stronger. But racism still exists and we must continue to call it out, re-learn history, listen to lived experience voices, and protect culturally safe spaces for women and children. 🧡

When clinicians feel confident, women get better care. 💫

After last night's GP Education Event, 100% of attendees said they now feel more confident to support women facing pelvic pain, endometriosis and menopause – the type of impact that reaches far beyond one night.

“I’ve never seen a more connected room of professionals. Everybody was engaged. I loved the chance to network and talk to each expert in a small group setting.” – GP event attendee.

A big thanks to our speakers: Dr Sean Copson Thi Anh Oliver Anh Oliver, Caitlin Roche & Irina Baimatova.

We’re continuing to grow this space. Leave us a comment with your suggestions on women's health education topics for GPs – we'd love your input!

We can’t talk about without recognising the women whose voices go unheard. Healthcare must be shaped around the unique barriers women face — especially those in vulnerable groups.

One-size-fits-all healthcare simply doesn't fit anyone. It’s time to listen, amplify their voices, and design health access that reflects the full range of women’s experiences. 🧡

A short history of women’s health milestones over the years — we've come a long way, but we still have a long way to go.

True health equality will be achieved when every woman has access to care that listens, understands, and delivers treatment and services tailored to her needs. 💫

Real progress for women means forging new pathways, uncomfortable conversations and a constant fight for change.

And let’s be honest – real progress often feels like banging on the same door a million times until someone finally opens it.

When our team connected with others doing the work through events, we were grateful to pause, rethink progress, and forge ahead together.

Because progress is urgent and necessary. At the UN Women IWD lunch, Curtin Professor Dr Hannah McGlade reminded us that 10 women have already been killed this year – 9 of them Aboriginal or from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Lives have been cut short, and women from vulnerable groups continue to suffer most. There aren’t enough flexible, culturally safe health options to improve this, at the rate we need it. And that’s a door we’ll never stop banging on.

“If we’re serious about balancing the scales, we must stop pretending it’s a women’s issue – and start recognising it’s a systems issue.” – said human rights lawyer Rabia Siddique at the Ngala IWD Breakfast this morning.

Systems must change. And that change takes courage, discomfort and consistent work to forge new pathways.

Thank you UN Women, Ishar Multicultural Women’s Health Services Inc & Ngala for creating spaces to reflect, and keep moving forward together this IWD
