HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY LIGHTBULB COMMUNITY!!

Four years ago today we started Lightbulb in a quest to help people develop skills to become more independent. We didn’t know then how lucky we would be to be surrounded by so many kind, thoughtful individuals who impress us every day by helping each other to build their skills while having fun together and making meaningful connections and friendships.

We have started a Community that is building itself through kindness, generosity, and a genuine sense of belonging!

We are looking forward to another trip around the sun with all of you!

Desley is passionate about the opportunity to assist others in achieving their learning goals. She celebrates opportunities to utilise her knowledge, skillset and ability to create an inclusive learning environment for each unique participant.

With an empowerment-based teaching philosophy, Desley’s approach is focussed on the use of engaging demonstration and mindful explicit instruction, seeking to find as many opportunities as possible for her students to experience success.
