We’re hiring! Front Desk Medical Receptionist.

Mosman Park Family Practice is seeking a professional, friendly, and detail-oriented individual to join our front desk team in a part-time role (up to 20 hours per week).

As the first point of contact for our patients, our reception team plays a vital role in creating a warm, calm, and welcoming experience from the moment patients walk through the door.

Previous medical reception experience is preferred, though not essential — we value attitude, reliability, and a genuine care for people just as highly.

👋 Meet Julia! Our highly experienced Registered Nurse, now supporting patients across preventative care and chronic disease management.

If you’ve visited the practice recently, chances are you’ve already met wonderful Julia.

Originally from Killarney, Co. Kerry, Ireland, Julia brings a wealth of experience across community nursing, dermatology, vascular care and immunisations. She has a special interest in preventative health, health assessments and chronic disease management.

Warm, knowledgeable and incredibly patient-focused, Julia is already a much-valued part of our team.

Welcoming Dr Daisy Burbidge-King to Mosman Park Family Practice //

We’re delighted to introduce Dr Daisy, a local GP bringing warm, whole-person, family-centred care to our community.

Dr Daisy has particular interests in dermatology, skin cancer checks and excisions, women’s health and menopause care, child health, and long-acting contraception (Mirena, copper IUD and Implanon insertion and removal). She also incorporates medical and cosmetic injectables for therapeutic indications such as bruxism, jaw clenching, TMJ pain and hyperhidrosis, into her practice.

With extensive hospital experience and advanced training in child health, sexual and reproductive health, and mental health, Dr Daisy offers thoughtful, comprehensive care across all stages of life.

Wishing all of our patients a very merry Christmas! We will be open during the Christmas period, with the exception of public holiday days.

Dr Prendiville is on leave from Friday 19th December.
Dr Hancock will be on leave from Wednesday 24th December. For after hours non-urgent medical home visits, contact The Night Doctor on 1300 644 438.

Our doctors will be taking a break over Christmas. Please check if you require any prescriptions and order your repeats accordingly from your primary practitioner via our online portal by this Friday 19th December.

Online script and referral repeat requests is a service available to our existing patients. To place your order, visit our website or head directly to the HotDoc app and click Repeat Prescription or Repeat Referral.

We will be closed from 2.30pm Wednesday 24th and reopen Monday 29th.

Congratulations to our amazing Dr Belinda, who welcomed baby #3 last month! We’ve already had some newborn cuddles, and she is absolutely perfect.

It’s always bittersweet when someone from our team embarks on their next chapter, but when the path ahead leads to snow-covered mountains and a season of adventure, it becomes a joyful au revoir.

Pippa has been a much-loved, valued and essential part of Mosman Park Family Practice, always looking after patients with her trademark bubbly warmth. We were lucky to have her for as long as we have! As she heads off to France, we’ll be cheering her on from home, following her alpine chapter living a touch vicariously through her European winter.
