We’re delighted to welcome Dr Amanda Ireland, an experienced Dermatopathologist, to our WA team. Dr Ireland is a Fellow of the RCPA with postgraduate qualifications in Dermatopathology and Skin Cancer Medicine. She has worked with leading institutions, authored numerous publications, and presented at national and international conferences. Her expertise in Dermatopathology, Cytopathology, and Surgical Pathology makes her a valuable addition to Clinical Labs WA. Please join us in warmly welcoming Dr Ireland!

Over the weekend, Dr Marissa Muller, Dr Natalie Dixon and Dr Sara De Vries - Anatomical Pathologists at Clinical Labs WA - swapped their lab coats for running shoes to take on the Chevron City to Surf for Activ 12km run.

At Australian Clinical Labs, we are experts in antenatal testing. Our range of pathology services in this field was highlighted at the Healthed Women’s and Children’s Health Update in Perth, which saw over 900 attendees. Medical professionals wanted to learn more about our Genetic Carrier Screening (a Cystic Fibrosis, Spinal Muscular Atrophy and Fragile X Syndrome screening test) and Harmony® (NIPT/non-invasive prenatal testing). Our WA team had some good discussions with delegates about our Comprehensive Carrier Screening, which tests for 100+ inherited conditions and up to 460 genes. We also had interest in our women’s health tests, particularly iron studies and female reproductive hormones and fertility testing relating to ovulation.
