πŸ’› R U OK? Day – September 11

Not everyone communicates or experiences the world in the same way. For autistic and neurodivergent people, conversations about mental health may feel harder, but they are just as important.

Being patient, adapting how we communicate, and listening with genuine care can help our friends, family, colleagues and participants feel more supported.

A simple check-in could change a life. πŸ’¬πŸ©΅

Employee Spotlight πŸ’‘πŸ†

Tandin has been with Harmilla since the start of 2024. He started as a Support Worker, assisting participants in our Supported Independent Living Accomodations, growing his skills and providing high level care. Earlier this year Tandin has been promoted to Team Leader for one of our SIL houses, providing training and mentoring to new staff, monitoring service delivery and ensuring accurate communication and reporting within the team that he works with. We congratulate Tandin on his achievements with Harmilla and enjoy watching him grow as an employee.
