Yawning before or after a massage is a great indication that your horse is releasing stress that has been stored in their muscles. They will often yawn continuously for a few minutes - my favourite thing to see!

A lot of horses also don't feel comfortable releasing their stress in front of us, but if you watch them for a few minutes once they are back in the paddock, you may notice that's when they finally start releasing and all the yawns come out!

Pictured here is beautiful Simba, having lots of big releases after his massage today.

Welcome to Connected Equine Therapy!

When I signed up to complete my certification in Equine Sports Massage I had the simple goal of helping my own personal horses feel more comfortable. Throughout the duration of the course I developed a passion for bodywork and couldn’t believe how much one massage could help a horse. My goal now is to help your horses enjoy their work as much as possible by helping them relax and feel good in their bodies.

“Give a horse what he needs and he will give you his heart in return”

Prices:
One Horse - $40
Two Horses - $70
Sessions are one hour and travel fees may apply.
