The new moon on Feb 17 is going to be doozy! 🌑 ✨
With the first new moon solar eclipse of 2026 there will be some major energy shifts but also, for many it will bring destiny resets and new pathways.
I’ve seen multiple angel messages pointing me towards conclusions, divine timing and stepping through to the unknown - which, for a 🦀 is very scary!
At first I was choosing to ignore it, because at my age I didn’t really want anything “new”, but I’m excited for this new phase of my life 💃 🐎

I’m open to seeing where this beautiful alignment of sun and moon energy takes me and have started working towards a magical ritual for Tuesday evening.

🌿MORINGA - TREE OF LIFE
Moringa oleifera (drumstick tree)

Moringa is a deciduous tree from the north of India, Pakistan, and Nepal, and its leaves, flowers and fruit are considered extremely medicinal and spiritual; often referred to as The Tree of Life or Magic Tree (as my husband calls it)

During the hot summer months this Magic Tree dutifully provides us with yummy drumsticks for our curries, sweet flowers for our salads and leaves for our herbal tea

The dried leaves have a distinctive (but not unpleasant) grass-flavour so combining with peppermint, tulsi or chamomile, it makes for a delicious tea which provides calming and grounding effects; especially for meditation or yoga practices.

Moringa is also an adaptogenic herb, so it can adapt to what the body needs, providing energy throughout the day and sound, restful sleep at night.

These little handmade Protection Poppets will bring Protection, Good Luck, Healing and New House blessings; but once you breathe life into your little Protection Poppet, the magic is endless!

Your Protection Poppet is lovingly crafted to take away your worries; handmade and filled with herbs and flowers from my garden - knotted with one continuous length of thread symbolising long life; ready for you to connect your intentions to or gift to someone special - especially good for assisting with anxiety

You can then add pieces of cloth, shells, flowers, feathers, to adorn your little poppet, it’s totally up to you - whatever is unique to your heart 💓

When you receive your Protection Poppet, you need to ‘wake’ it up, give it a name and a purpose. First “breathe” life into it. (I do this by gently blowing into its face). Then say something like this:
“It’s time to wake up little poppet. You’re now complete, I will call you… (whatever you name it). Your purpose is… (whatever you want it to do).”

🌿What’s in your smoke cleansing wand?🌿

It’s no secret plants play a very important role in our health and happiness

And we all know using herbs for smoke cleansing is an age old practice by almost every culture on earth; but do you know where your smoke cleansing wand comes from or how it was made?

White sage is very popular these days and truly a very powerful herb; and just one piece of will cleanse effectively

But, there are also some fantastic herbs which can provide the energetic energies you’re looking for, such our very own native powerhouse with very similar properties - Australian Wild (Native) Rosemary 🌿You’ll see this beautiful herb popping up in my smoke cleansing wands. Also, Mugwort, Common Sage, Lion’s Tail, Wormwood and Rue are great energy protectors and can substitute white sage

I have been creating herb wands for quite a few years now, using a technique passed to me by a very dear Portuguese friend. But, I connect to my Polish ancestors when choosing the herb blend, who used herbs for folk medicine, air cleansing and culinary practices
