We’re so excited to be part of the Kalamunda Garden Festival once again, a beautiful community event celebrating all things gardening, plants, and nature 🌸💚

Held in the heart of Stirk Park, the festival showcases incredible stallholders, guest speakers, workshops, and an abundance of lush plants 🌱 Please note this is a ticketed event, with tickets available through the KMGF website.

We’ll be bringing along our range of live plants, seeds, and dried herbs, including
✨ Restocked herb favourites: Sweet Annie, Butterfly Pea, and Mullein

🌸 Limited numbers available, so we highly recommend pre ordering online to secure your plants. Orders open one week before the market.

Every time I see a Butterfly Pea flower I genuinely go wow. 🦋😍 It never stops amazing me.

Not only is it absolutely stunning with those deep blue flowers, it is packed with benefits too. Traditionally used to support the nervous system, memory and mental clarity, it’s also rich in antioxidants and loved for its calming, dreamy vibes. It’s one of the key herbs we use in our Dreamy Night Tea for a reason.

It grows beautifully in the Perth climate, thriving in warmth and sunshine. Once established it’s hardy, fast growing and a generous producer through the warmer months. Perfect for gardens, trellises or pots if you give it a little support to climb.

We currently have Butterfly Pea plants available now, along with seeds if you want to grow your own from scratch. This one is a staple in our garden and our tea blends and we honestly couldn’t be without it.

Summer greenhouse • Feb 2026

The greenhouse has honestly surprised me over summer. A few little tricks have made all the difference. Shade cloth inside to help diffuse the light, every window open, doors open, and packing it out with plants, especially tropicals.

I’m hoping the curry leaf trees will create more canopy over time. They add great height already and will only get better. The tomato has been incredible, going strong through winter and summer. It’s starting to slow now, but it’s been such good cover in the greenhouse.

Climbers like butterfly pea and guduchi have been amazing for height too. Cucumbers are doing okay, but the peppers and jalapeños are absolutely loving life in there 🌶️🌱

Mullein is an incredibly low maintenance plant once established.

• Plant in full sun
• Prefers well drained soil
• Water to establish, then only occasionally
• Very drought hardy
• Grows a soft leafy base in its first year
• Sends up tall flowering spikes in season

Mullein thrives on neglect and doesn’t need rich soil or much fuss. Perfect for wild gardens and herbal patches.
