Dance rehearsals for end of year concerts have begun!
Dancing relies on feet for power, balance, and rhythm, and requires proper care to prevent injury.
Performing pointé can generate a force equivalent to 10 times the dancer’s body weight on their feet.
We treat foot and ankle issues common in dancers, such as overuse injuries, deformities like bunions or hammertoes, and trauma. Dancers’ feet are prone to injury from high-impact movements and improperly fitting footwear, making regular podiatry care essential for prevention and treatment of these conditions.
