9 weeks post hip surgery.

is 9 weeks post Hip Arthroscopy, Labral Debridement + Femoral Osteplasty.

He’s got big goals which we love. We’re right on track with restoring hip ROM, particularly rotational range in the hip, which is often quite stubborn, but super important post surg.

This single leg hip hinge to running man, with a floating heel is a great exercise to start restoring that functional gait cycle. Starts with load through that hip in the hinge position and moves into a lovely hip extension and lengthening through that back leg…where he still feels some level of stiffness.

One of many in the rehab plan. Time to get strong and bulletproof these hips!

Still buzzing after the weekend. Both & were down at in different capacities for V5 of their Christmas Pairs comp.

Wowee can they throw a comp. Challenging workouts, costumes, DJ’s & some serious vibes.

Jade was attending to some competition bodies throughout the day to keep them out on the floor. Hopefully a regular on the calendar this one.

What a weekend in Busso!!!

In another episode of clients and friends doing amazing things, this weekend had it all.

Completing and competing in a race that involves the below is not for the faint of heart:
3.8km 🏊🏼
180km 🚲
42.2km 🏃🏽‍♀️

We had the fastest Australian male over the Ironman distance EVER.

We had an age group qualification for the Ironman World Championships!

We had an Uber successful debut Ironman that overcome it all just to even race.

We had a PRO debut over the distance with a huge PB.

The long distance triathlon journey is a rollercoaster.

Huge congratulations to these ⭐️’s.

We’re so fortunate to play even the smallest of parts in helping these people reach their goals!

2. Jade is off to the Phillipines for the next two weeks to compete in the National Free Diving Competition. She’s been training very hard. We wish her all the very best and a safe return home. Follow along

**CLIENT SHOUTOUT**
stina_g has just come back from the Australian Gymnastics championship in the Gold Coast. This was her 4th Nationals competition.

I’ve been really fortunate to play a very small part in keeping Kristina healthy enough to get through the training load required to compete at the highest level for over 5 years. Injuries and niggles are part of the game at this level, but Kristina has been ultra consistent and professional in her preparation.

After feeling very under the weather physically on competition day and making a few uncharacteristic errors in her first few routines, incredibly, she was able to re-focus, nail a seasons best routine to round out the competition with a🥉in clubs.

Kristina your efforts behind the scenes in this competition as well as everyday in training are extraordinary and we’re so glad you’ve got something to show for all your hard work.

😀😀 NEW PRACTITIONER 😀😀

It is with great pleasure I get to welcome on board the team at DRIVE HP.

Jade is an outstanding Occupational Therapist who shares our mission to provide the highest quality of care for your musculoskeletal concerns.

Whether Jade is working as an OT, teaching Pilates, head practitioner at Nationals comps, going to the gym, boxing 🥊 , playing 🎾, scuba diving 🤿 or eating açai bowls…she sure makes us feel very lazy, but her knowledge 🧠 + her warm and caring nature have you in safe hands.

True to form Jade’s currently free diving off the Indonesian coast right now ☀️ 🏝️ 🤿. Though she assures me she’ll be back, refreshed and ready to tackle her next adventure in clinic helping clients from Monday - 29th May.
